hey again guys.... for those of you who missed this one, it was FREE !!
it was also outdoors so i'm glad the weather stayed decent (the dark clouds just rolled on by). the setlist was the same, (in order ) as the last one i posted, except they eliminated Close, Lucky One, & Blood into Wine due to the limited time they were given...
and the only encore song they did was Back Door Man/Be Your Dog before the fireworks went off, which were very pretty, and also drew someone from the stage crew out to the front so that i could ask him questions :)
he said that the guys already eliminated a few songs from the shows,
ones that the crowds weren't enthusiastic about... also he said that Ivan Neville helped out on keyboards 'cos the person who was originally
supposed to do it had health problems. well, whatever, it all worked out i guess. this guy didn't know if Mr. Neville would be recording with them also..

I went to Rutgers Fest in Piscataway NJ on April 25. Soul Asylum was pretty good but I was VERY EXTREMELY TREMENDOUSLY UPSET
that they did not sing Runaway Train!!! They left the stage at first and came back on for an encore song which we ALL figured would be RT but it was not ( I am not sure what song it was... I was too upset to pay that much attention). That was their last song... What were they thinking.... ??!!!
Truly upset in NJ
