Well, All I can say is what a disappointment and waste of money.

Semisonic was good, even though they started about 10 minutes early. Soul Asylum came

out with all band members wearing the blue jackets Matchbox 20 were selling. SA

started off playing Jump by Van Halen, then worked into the Mercedes Benz song

(commercial). The set list continued as follows (but not quite in the

correct order).

Gone till November by Wyclef Jean, Free Bird by Lynard Skynard, a Steve

Miller song I forget the name of, Rhinestone Cowboy, 2 songs I didn't recognize

(but not SA songs), Sexual Healing by ?Billy Ocean?, that "Thunder Only Happens

When It Rains" song from ????. Thats about it. They played for about 45 minutes.

They ended by thanking everybody for indulging them to play whatever they felt like for

the last show on the tour. I was extremely disappointed. This was the

fourth time I have seen them live and I was looking forward to another great show like

they did the last time they came to LA. A few cover songs to start the night

would have been good. But not playing ONE original song was just not right. I do have to

say, however, that all the cover songs were done very well. I was just

looking so forward to seeing them again.
