MEET THE FACULTY
The Faculty, the Columbia/Sony Music Soundtrax album from the
upcoming Dimension Films' sci-fi teen thriller, features new
versions of Pink Floyd's "Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2)" and
"Another Brick In The Wall (Part 1)" performed by the "Class Of '99,"
an altrock all-star supergroup featuring Layne Staley (Alice In
Chains) on vocals, Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine) on guitar,
Steve Perkins (Jane's Addiction/Porno For Pyros) on drums and Martyn
Le Noble (Porno For Pyros) on bass; "Another Brick In The Wall
(Part 2)" includes choral work by Edward Tate and the First A.M.E.
Voices of Gospel Youth Choir. The recording marks the first time
Pink Floyd has sanctioned a remake of one of the band's songs for a
motion picture. The Faculty soundtrack hits the stores December 22
and the film opens nationwide December 25.

In addition to the Class Of 99's recasting of the 1980 Pink Floyd
classic, The Faculty soundtrack features other new interpretations
of adolescent rock & roll anthems: Shawn Mullins' cover of David
Bowie's "Changes," Soul Asylum's take on Alice Cooper's "School's
Out," and Creed's rendition of Alice Cooper's "I'm 18." Rounding
out The Faculty soundtrack are several original tunes by some of the
hottest artists in alternative music today: "Stay Young" by Oasis,
"The Kids Aren't All Right" by The Offspring, "Resuscitation" by
Sheryl Crow, "Medication" by Garbage, "Haunting Me" by Stabbing
Westward, "It's Over Now" by Neve and "Helpless" by D Generation.
