On 05/04/98, 102.1 the Edge- Live in Toronto (http://www.virtuallycanadian.com) or http://edge.passport.ca) had a broadcast on Monday afternoon
from  6-6:30 EST with Dave (Dan was sick) from Soul Asylum.  Dave Pirner performed solo acoustic versions of "String Of Pearls" and "Closer To the Stars".  redl.jpg (5929 bytes)The studio version of "I will still be laughing" was performed also.  The radio studio is, as far as I can deduce, set up so fans can view the on air performance from out on the incredible long and lovely Yonge Street (great street to eat, shop, take in some Indian food and pick up British comedies not available here in the States-BTW). 
Dave noted a bonus CD to be coupled with the "Candy from a stranger"  recorded in Toronto at the Palais Royale.  This will be not available outside of Canada.
